Default coolant question

My 02 z06 just got a procharger p1sc1 installed with the single fan that came with the procharger. I am getting oil temp as high as 250F on a 60 degree day on street driving. I am going to try and install the stock fans but I know thats gonna take some modifications so in the meantime will changing the coolant help? I bough prestone dex cool that has to get mixed with water. Will putting 60-70% water keep the engine cooler?

Was it tuned after the procharger?

It should (water transfers heat better than antifreeze) but not enough to make a difference. A 250 oil temp in 60F ambient temperate is hot. My stock C5 oil has hit 250 but that's when it was well over 100F outside.

I would look into upgrading your radiator.
Maybe get a second opinion on the tune. You could be running too lean.

Thanks, yes I have a twin intercooler seteup. The intercoolers are located in the front left and right side of the fenders so it doesnt really restrict the airflow to the main rad. I have my stock dual fans and am going to try and install that this week. While I am doing that I will remove and clean the radiator. Thanks I will let you know if that all helps.
