I am thinking about purchasing a '99 Corvette and I currently own a '98. I would like to change the after-market wheels I have on my '98 over to the '99. Are the tire pressure sensors the same on these two vehicles or will I need to switch to the '99 sensors? Thanks in advance for your help! :seeya
There are two designs so far:
The first design for 1997 to 2000 (with GM part number 10438853)
The second design 2001 to 2002 (with GM part number 25648293)
If you change the transmitter from one car to another, like by switching wheels, you only have to do "Tire Training" from the DIC. See your owners manual.
Prior to that: Look for that old magnet you had once in first grade![/QUOTE]
That's good info to have. Thanks for sharing your humble knowledge Manny![
