Rear End Noise
I have a 2002 with 7000 miles and a 3:15 gear. The car originally came with a 2.73, but a local dealer had a nearly new 3:15 from a nearly new car that was changed to a 3:42, so I bought it and had it installed. I can hear a slight singing noise with the a/c off and windows up, but only when there is neutral pressure on the gas. Letting off the gas or increasing the gas even slightly causes the noise to go away. It can happen in any gear. My question is how much noise is cause for concern?
