LED replacement in Auto-Dimming Mirror
To be clear I'm replacing the LED's in my rearview mirror with 20000 mcd white 5mm diodes.
Option 1 - replace the LEDs directly with no resistors or jumpers
Option 2 - replace the LEDs directly and wire in 2 jumpers on the back of the pcb while cutting one of the connections
Option 3 - replace 5 LED's and solder in a resistor in place of one of the LED's (I'm unsure of what the rating of the resistor should be)
Which is considered the most popular or "correct" way of doing this?
