No yellow led on AC

No yellow led on AC
The yellow led has stopped coming on under the AC button on my 2000 C5 with climate control. Everything still seems to work normally. AC is cold. No codes. Bad led? If so anybody got an extra? These things definitely have a mind of their own. Thanks.

I don't think it's an LED - they weren't in common use when the C5's were built. It's an incandescent bulb soldered to the circuit board on the HVAC controller. Should be an easy replacement for someone with soldering skills. There are posts on HVAC repair on the forum that explain how to remove the controller.

About six months ago I put all LEDs on the pc board and the yellow lights really appeared to be LEDs. Either way it still doesn't work. Wish there was an easier way to check without taking dash apart. Again. Anybody? Thanks

The bulb under my auto button failed as well. I am going to replace all bulbs with LED's in the winter I think.
