When the car is cold it does not start cleanly. The car kind of stutters before starting. When the car is warm, it starts perfectly. It does not strike me as a starter issue. Any ideas? Thank you.
Not sure about that one...I have had plugs that would not fire under compression .... was thinking that maybe when cold the compression was a bit higher and the some plugs were having trouble firing? May NOT even be possible in the LS1... just a rookie thinking out loud...that along with old wires that aren't delivering full voltage ... but, might start and run fine but, not at full potential...others more familiar with the system may enlighten us both...
Have you checked fuel pressure? Maybe it's bleeding off before start and then stays at proper pressure after it's been started for the day?
