Questions on adding R-134?
Cold air temp out of the dash in the C5 is 48 degrees, while two other cars in the driveway run about 40 degrees. Tests though not scientific were all done at the same time in the shade. Possibly I need to add some freon. I know plenty of poeple do it themselves, but can you add the proper amount without gauges and charts?
I'd like to get it cooler as the black car with a clear top is brutal on a long sunny drive.

All 3 cars are C-5's???If not,you are comparing apples and oranges...The correct way to charge is to evacuate the system,then add the proper amount :yesnod: Simply adding or overcharging can make it warmer since 134 operates on higher head pressures compared to R12...
