Had a one year warranty on the trans rebuild since expired. This is a tough deal as I was thinking of possibly trading up for a low mileage 'vert. But can't sell or trade with the Light on.
Well it's a mystery to me..all the code stuff is a bit overwhelming. I do know the orig code doesn't sound like good news. I'm wondering if maybe the trans rebuilder did not replace the trans pressure switch manifold. Not sure of my next move.

What symptoms are you experiencing, just the check light? Any problems with the trans?
No symptoms just the light..trans was professionally rebuilt 6/14..Battery is approx a yr old and show's good charging on the dash guage.
I cleared all the old H codes off and the only remaining thing is: 58 SDM it showed 2 codes I cleared that and 1 code remains. Doesn't specify which (1) code remains.
I'll drive a bit today and see if the light may reset and turn off. I guess I could un-hook the battery as well, I suppose it might do something (?)
Well I needed a time out I guess, my frustration level got high, so I pretty much just ignored the issue for a couple weeks, anyway I cooled down a bit and made the call today to the transmission shop. Talked to my guy down there and he seemed to understand the issue. He mentioned pulling the pan, checking electrical, service etc..going in Mon bright and early..wish me luck
Probably just a faulty pressure switch, I know in dodge automatics its pretty typical. He probably didn't replace it on the rebuild unless you specified it.
Nas you're probably right..my local mech wrote down the code on a slip of paper with this written on it..
P1810 transmission pressure switch manifold fault
I'm glad it's going back to the orig rebuilder..I know it will cost me a bit of coina but the mgr said it shouldn't be too bad..
here's hoping this will dial me in for awhile..
I've read through this thread but still a little confused. When did you have your trans rebuilt? June 2016 or June 2015? If it was June 2015, any reputable shop should cover this repair and not charge any labor cost. If it needs a part that wasn't replaced during the rebuild process but should of been, then the customer paying for the part would be expected.
**Update** went in the shop last mon 8am as requested, supposed to be "done by 5"...haha..todays' Tues around 5pm they just told me sometime tomorrow..something about needing a small hose..(to shaft me with no doubt) ...aw hell who cares long as they fix it right, but the vette tax..ouch, around 3 bills he said, guess I'm getting some new parts and the full trans service for my hard earned coin..
Done deal I got full trans service plus new parts and a bill for $300. they gave me a 6mo warranty..my car feels good again, he said I'm good to go for couple yrs..

Saxy, from your other thread https://www.corvetteforum.com/forums...1810-woes.html , looks like they did that $40 part change out as was described. Glad you got your gal fixed and very glad it was relatively inexpensive!
They replaced the $40 trans pressure switch for $90 and charged $187 labor fee for trans service..the rest was "shop supplies" and tax..Still 3 bills OTD was relatively cheap I'd say.
Well she's purrin' like a dusty pussycat..so onward we go, for my next fix my pass side front signal bulb has quit. Last year was the driver side, and I end up replacing the corroded socket Here we go again..Guys Thanks for the great support and info. This forum is an amazing place..!!.
