Default Headers or cat-back for my next mod?

I know that doing both will net the greatest gain, but if you could only do one at this time, which would you do? Please help me answer the following questions.

[1] LGM LT vs. FLP LT. Cost is comparable. I see that FLP has the option for the off-road pipe, which eliminates the 2 cats, how hard is it to swap the cats back on when it's time for the smog check? Any cutting or welding involved to put the cats on? I would definitely get the ORP.

[2] What's the average install price for putting on headers?

[3] Since I'll need 02 sims to go with the ORP, how much are these on average?

[4] For cat-back, I'm considering the GHL, do you guys think that the GHL combined with either brand of headers will give about the same gain?

Thanks!

You will probably see 20-25rwhp out of FLP headers and 0-5rwhp out of a exhuast system. The truth is the stock Z06 mufflers flow great already. Your money best spent would be the headers.

Thanks FRC21:
I undestand that cat back will not help much for the 02 Z06. I just want a little louder sound, guess I can eliminate the 2 mufflers.

I'd do the cat-back first and headers later unless you're really serious about performance. When you get the headers I think you should look into LGM's longtubes a little more. Unlike the FLP's they're stainless steel AND you can switch out cats with off-road pipes just like the FLP's. Good Luck.
