Default Climate control

Hi , my climate control reading go eradicate when in is raining or I go through a car wash somrtimes. My interior display in stuck on 69 degrees , but when its wet outside in may read almost anything from -3 degrees or 10 degrees or anywhere in between until it dries out. Any help. it a 2003. outside sensor could be bad, lower pass side at radiator !!! you go though a car wash

Your ac will not work correctly with that sensor malfunctioning. They are not expensive and easy to replace. Check the wires and connector as that is often the problem.

What Pounder said ambient temp sensor AND, stay away from car washes. Written by someone who drives in the rain....two to three times a week.

P.S. Google ambient temp sensor on a C5 Vette. Look at the picture and look for it on the right (pass.side) on radiator area ...frame rail. About $15.00- 17.00 at one of our vendors.
