I'm looking for a hard copy of a 1997 C5 repair manual. I'm not having much luck locating one. I am going to do a complete rebuild of the engine. Can anyone point me in the right direction?

The only manual I have seen for the 97 is the original GM manuals. I found mine on Ebay. spent about 70 bucks.

There were several for sale. Make sure it is a 4 volume set and not the preliminary manuals.

That is a fantastic price - I would buy that factory manual set ASAP. Compare to what it costs elsewhere. They do not pop up used terribly often, and when they do, they are nearly full price.

I'm tempted to buy it to flip it, make myself a cool hundred bucks or more, but I won't.

 

Make a wanted to buy post in the C5 Parts for Sale section. Someone may have a used set they are willing to part with at a decent price.
