Default No start/no crank after ARH header install

Let me preface this: I've searched the forum for the various threads on this topic, and I haven't yet found anything that has helped.

So I was all excited to finally get my set of ARH headers on my car this weekend.

Well, after all the hassle, everything was buttoned back up and...turn the key, no start. No crank. There is now a "Check Gages" light on, there wasn't before.

The battery was replaced little over a month ago. No known issues previous to this, and I drove it to where I was installing them.

Parts that were taken off or moved during install:
Negative battery cable
AIR tubes
Spark plugs/wires
Coil packs
Alternator
Starter
O2 sensors
All exhaust from engine back to axle

Starter was taken back off and put to power and it spun. I've double checked the wiring to the starter terminals and it looks correct to me, but I've been wrong before.

Any idea what could cause this condition? Could the theft deterrent system have been activated? Other starter/wiring issues?

Any help is greatly appreciated; I don't really want an expensive 3000lb yellow paperweight.

Either the starter solenoid is not hooked up correctly, the battery terminal is loose, or the ground wire to the engine on the passenger side is loose or disconnected. If all else fails, I'd have the battery checked.

I'm sure someone on here can offer you a wiring diagram or a picture of the starter wiring and the ground strap location.

Good luck.

Not a real test for a starter... it has to be load tested, just because it will spin doesn't mean it will turn over the motor...
It almost has to be something your overlooking...that you undid and redid...

The solenoid connection could be an issue. I've looked at pictures and think it was put back correctly.

The battery terminal is less likely, I think. When I thought I was finished and went to start the car, all the lights on the interior and exterior were working. If the terminal were loose, I wouldn't think everything else would work.

The ground wire issue is also entirely possible. It could have been damaged during removal of the stock system or installation of the new.

I'm sure you're right. I'm not an expert, but this makes sense to me:

working car + x = non-working car

What is x? Everything I tore apart and put back together during header removal/install.
