On my '02 Z, I was in the middle of (trying) to replace my serp belt...and I noticed once taking off the tubing around the MAF that the body/girdle of the MAF unit itself was slightly warped and was actually missing a piece of plastic. I reinstalled knowing I would have to replace it but literally a few minutes later the car started dying etc, and I noticed the tubing after the MAF has popped off and the car is leaking tons of air right after the MAF.
Car is on A&A V3Si. I found this MAF but have NO clue if this is the right part...
If you made 615WHP with the stock MAF it must be sufficient. Is the MAF broken or did the air bridge just become disconnected? You should be able to get a replacement MAF at any auto parts store.

The plastic runner on the rear side (closer to motor) is actually cracked / missing a piece of plastic. I think I might try to get A&A's girdle. The tubing between throttle body & MAF is disconnected off the MAF and I'm not sure if I'll be able to get it back on....
My experience is that on a 2002 car the STOCK MAF is only useful to around 500 RWHP using the stock closed/pen loop system and the MAF
If you bought this car used most likely it has something other that the stock tune setup
If you bought the car and had it modded and tuned----Only your original tuner can source what type of tune you have
It can be :
1. stock open/closed loop tune
2. Speed Density tune
3. Open loop tune
4 Semi open loop tune
You need to find out how it was tuned---
Some require NO MAF input
Some require No front 02 input
we need more info to help you
