Default Wow! What a difference.

Just changed out my spark plugs to NGK iridium plugs. Wow! It breathed new life into my old girl!
So excited I just had to share with like minded folks who would understand.

Yes. A CAI, a cat back system with an H pipe, deleted cats, and a Hypertech Power programmer tune.

I used the NGK iridium TR5IX plugs. Really livened things back up.

Wires too? If not how did you get your wires off without tearing them up, I didn't think that was possible from all the forum post...
How many miles and years on OLD plugs?

Use dielectric grease on the wires like you should and the boots will not stick

Yes, changed the wires too. That was part of the problem: I just purchased a month ago and didn't have any idea how many miles were on 'em.

A tool like this goes a long way to removing the wires without damaging them. Be sure to twist the boot on the plug back and forth a few times before trying to pull them off.

Here's a link to a pretty thorough procedure and required items for removing plugs and wires on a C5.

Good luck... GUSTO

I used a wire puller like that when I changed the plugs/wires on my '00 after 33K miles or so. Made the job very easy.

After 16 years, my oem wires did get torn up. Two out of eight.
P.S.I also used wire pullers and still tore-up two.
