While some members here will tell you and you will read you do not need an alignment, it is recommended you get one. Due to the asymmetrical tire design and relatively short tire life compared to a standard road car even the slightest adverse issues with alignment can cause unwanted tire wear. With the relatively high cost of tires for a Corvette that should be factored as well.
The bolts that are adjusted are on the transversely mounted leaf springs. There's nothing overly secret about their location and by raising the car you will see what has to be adjusted.
Hey Gary welcome to the madness....
I IMHO it depends on "how low you go" I only went about 1" and did not get an alignment, but have been watching the tire wear closely for about 8k miles... been pretty normal so far... I watch the tire pressure very closely as well...

I lowered my Z06 all the way down on stock bolts. I ran it for 100-150 miles to settle and took it to be aligned. The front wasn't bad, but the rears were out a bit. I would say having it put on the rack for a check is cheap insurance.
Do the math, $75-125 for an alignment or $700-1500 for new tires. IF you lower the car you are going to change the caster/camber and toe. The rear tires see greater toe changes than the front.
Lowered mine on stock bolts. There are several write ups on how to do it btw. I had a 4 wheel alignment done and it was off a bit. I would def reccommend having it done just to be safe than sorry.
