What's a good and reasonably priced code scanner that can show me live data? I'm having a tough time with banks 1 and 2 lean and I would rather spend the coin on a scanner instead of blindly throwing parts at it. Thanks

I would start by looking for air leaks after the MAF. Clamps on the air bridge loose, cracks in the tube between the MAH and the TB, etc. I would also look at the PCV tubing. Rotted or broken PCV lines also cause those two codes. Both those codes are common issues when unmetered air is ingested by the engine. 
That was exactly what mine did. Air bridge clamps.
In reference to your original question though Look into DashCmd.
