? About horn problem and interior temps
No problems with it until recently. Had took it in to get the AC looked at. Had the blinking light syndrome. Tech hooked into service port and got the compressor to come on and she was screaming like a bobcat. So we ordered compressor and drier kit and when they came in he'd call me.
Good thing they didn't come that week....lol Was moving it around in the yard to keep it in the shade and had the dreaded service column lock message pop up and car cuts off....grrrrr. Ordered the LMC5 module and that's all good now. Guy called me the next day said parts were in. Good deal. Have AC now and loving it. Black on Black on Black makes her a hot bitch. 🔥
Anyway.... my question. Got in it this morning and started it up and the horn starts blaring. Wasn't really awake but Damn sure was after that...lol I pressed on steering wheel and it would sometimes stop for a second but then start blaring again. Pulled the relay to shut it up. So I'm pretty sure it's the membrane and not really looking forward to doing that job. Will it hurt anything to go for a few weeks without the relay in until I can get the membrane and switch it out? Just wondering if that relay controls other stuff?
Interior temps ?
All these issues popped up after I've had it here at the house...with no garage.
I don't like not having it inside but it is nice to drive now with AC. Moms is a few miles away...where I usually keep it in her garage. Just a pain to have to go get it whenever I want to drive it.Wondering if the interior temps with it being in the sun would cause stuff to go Fubar? Seems like I read a post while searching about the column lock issue that the factory fix for it could take a dump because of heat.
Didn't mean to write a book...just wanted to check back in

I would get some sunshades... this is the style we use and it works great...
