Memory Power Seat Issue

...from the DIC, SCM code B0856 +5 volt reference out of range. Reset the code and it comes right back. Displays as both current and history.
Seat will move 1/4-1/2 inch and stop. Wait 15 seconds moves another 1/4-1/2 inch and stops again. Wait another 15 seconds....
Happens in all directions - forward/reverse, front up/front down, back up/back down.
Memory works on the outside rear view mirrors and climate control settings. Seat does not respond when pushing the memory button on the door.
I had the seat out doing the rocking seat repair and tried re-soldering the relay joints on the SCM circuit board. No difference.
I've searched but haven't seen a similar issue or fix. I appreciate any hints or suggestions!
