Considering some used wheels/tires for MY 2002 Z06. Do these sizes seem OK? Front/Rear both 1/2" more narrow than OEM. Rear offset slightly different from OEM '02 Z06. Do I need backspacing numbers?
Thanks.
Thinking that I'll end up with 18" square setup. Really like CCW classics, SP500 or 505A styles. Considering the OEM C5Z wheels are light weight, I am having trouble pulling the trigger on spending $$$ for mostly looks Thanks for the info/reply.
Tire size changes are usually based on clearance issues---What sizes will not rub the fenders or what sizes will allow plenty of brake caliper clearance
However--the most important issue with non stock tire sizes is to retain the stock difference between the front tire height and your rear tire height---The stock difference is 1" between the front and rear--the rear being 1" taller-----The more you alter this split the more you risk your ABS system will not work as designed----And you will NOT get any codes or an ABS warning but on an emergency hard stop you may have NO ABS brakes and your wheels will skid to a maybe stop !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
