Default Can I replace the horn without lifting the car?

My horns died (relay clicks but I get no sound) and wanted to know if anyone has been able to change their horn without lifting the car? I purchased the GM replacement horns (high note and low note sold seperately) and wanted to get a heads up from someone on the easiest way to get at the horns without a lift.

The horns are located fwd of the right side wheel well. Its a black panel thats held in with 5 screws. You will have to at least jack up the front and put the car on jackstands or drive up on ramps.

What advantage do you get with the dual notes? Does the alarm do low note for arming while normal use is high note?

Thanks for the pictures GMBlack. From your pictures it looks like your car is on a lift. However I wonder if you can get at the horns from the ground without a lift?

Lildreamer- low and high notes are standard on all C5's. Both horns (low and high note) operate when the horns are turned on.

Yes, you'll need ramps or jack and stands. You'll have to get enough height to get your head and hands under the front corner. :flag
