when did they redesign the oil pump??
I'm about to put in my H/C pagkage and intake, headers etc...My car is a 99. What year did they upgrade or change the oil pump?? Should I just buy the upgraded one, or buy one that has been blueprinted etc...?? Would like to do it while i'm there. I assume the upgraded one will just bolt on in place of mine?? Anybody have any info?

they had a lot of 99-00's with the relief valve stuck open with red loctite (well atleast that's what stuck mine open). I just the issue with the pumps was the stuck open OPRV.
