Need info on C5 gauge cluster replacement bulbs.
I am actually looking to upgrade my 30th Anniversary Z28 to have the more bright white looking illumination that the C5 Corvette instrument gauge cluster has at night. I went to GM to try and get some info but didnt come up with anything. Does anyone know part numbers? To me the bulbs look to be LED's and not normal halogen like camaros and most other cars. If anyone knows anything about these bulbs or if this mod would even work please let me know.

The Corvette guage cluster is not backlit, but rather luminescent, lit from the sides by blacklight tubes. Unless your dash is painted with the right type of paint they will not flouresce the same and you will just be taking a step back in the opposite direction. Sorry I don't have part numbers, but I don't think they will be of any use to you anyway. Hope this helps.
