Default Steering column lock, yet another scenario

I read through the column lock sticky.
Pulled fuse 23.
Fuse blown
What does this fuse go to?
Is the box next to the relays and fuses the bcm?
I want to take out the scl added relay, but confused by the sticky info,
In the beginning it says the relay is added and towards the end it just says the mn6 cars just get a reprogram.
Anybody have a wiring diagram?

Ok, where is this relay, and how can I get another one to replace it? What is it's relay number, and color of wires?
Sorry to be so demanding, but I haven't had a car for three days.

I get the pull key wait ten seconds and steering column lock fail message.
Fuel shuts off, and car won't stay running.

fuse 23 blows every time (tried it twice)

Ok, after some disassembly, I have determined that I do not have any kind of bypass, or "fix".
The recall was done, and they apparently just reprogrammed the computer to shut off the fuel at 2 mph if the steering column indicated a locked column.
Talked to Texhawk, and figured out I needed the bypass.
unplugged the steering column lock, and the fuse stopped blowing.
Then I went to a corvette wrecking yard my friend owns, and hunted through about 10-12 cars till I found a GM k harness (only steering lock bypass in the whole yard), and plugged it in my car. Fuse is fine, steering not locked, and fuel does not shut off.
Thanks for your info 8vette7, steered me to the right spot to start checking things.

Looks like a plug-in relay.
Wonder If I can get a parts list from the dealer with the relay part number.

I am a 1998 C5 owner, was this keylock problem also connected with the 98's with automatic? Thank you, didn't mean to butt in.
