Installed new clear front corner lens and amber led corner bulbs along with new amber 3157 led bulbs. Neither one of the 3157 would work, ran out of time and reinstalled factory amber bulbs which work fine. Checked and rechecked wire contacts and seated the bulbs on as far as they would go to no avail. Any suggestions?
Two suggestions:
1) Did you try reversing the LED bulb in the socket to invert polarities?
2) You can bench test it by manually feeding power to it. That way you can verify if it's a bad bulb or a bad contact. Sometimes the 4 wires that form the bulb's contacts in its socket need to be spread out from the socket using a small screwdriver or the tip of a blade, to make sure they effectively touch the female receptacle's contacts.

Check the base and make sure it is the same as the factory bulb. I had exactly the same problem and the issue was that the LED base was not correct (even though it was clearly marked 3157) and while it felt like it was seated there was no contact. Mine was not a one off issue, I found other sets labeled 3157 with exactly the same incorrect base.
