Default Help with Power window

I've done a search and can't find any info for fixing the passenger power window. I tried slamming the door while holding the button with no success. I can hear a clicking within the door when the button is pushed so it appears to be getting power to the motor (relay?). Any ideas will be appreciated. Also, will I need special tools to remove the door panel? Can anyone give instructions for removing the door panel?

Thanks,

Don't know what's wrong with your window but as far as taking the panel off, these are the best instructions I've come across (from Vette Essentials).

I believe there is a TSB on this. My regulator went and had it repaired under original warranty. I think it sucks tha GM knows that they have a bunch of crap parts and just because yours didn't fail within the warranty period now it's tough luck for you. I really feel sorry for those guys that have garage queens. As they get up in miles they are really going to experience some of the failures that the daily drivers have seen.

Special Tools? Get a trim pad remover. It looks kinda like a 3" wide putty knife with a slot down the center. I'm sure you've seen 'em. When you stick that baby between the door panel and painted fiberglass, make sure the notch on the tool goes between the white plastic fastener (that is attached to the door) and the white plastic receptacle that is in the painted fiberglass. I accidentally pulled both pieces out when I fixed my pass side window problem and had to buy new plastic fasteners/receptacles from the dealer (inexpensive, but a hassle none the less).

I had a passenger side window that was stuck in one position for quite a while until I figured out I had a loose connection below the 'A' pillar. There are 2 harnesses under the dash coming in from the pass door. I had to take the door sill & rt frnt kick panel off before I found it. Unfortunately I was stuck with a $250 RH DCM that I couldn't return after it was all said and done. Anybody out there that needs a RH DCM??

Good luck with the door.
