Default Seat problem

I have had my drivers seat out about a zillion times in order to attempt to fix the creaking and play in it. I've already replaced the spacers in the seat tracks and the pivot brackets at the seat base, but the damn seat still creaks. Has anyone torn their seat apart and found ANOTHER problem with the design?

Default This is the real fix on the rocking and play....

Dear Jack,

Right after I got my car about 12 years ago I started working on the fix for the rocking seat, not to be confused with the sliding seat- although I did that one too, which isn't nearly as serious a problem.

The fix was done a long time ago, and about 85,000 miles back, so I think it worked! Once you do it, be gentle how you sit in the car. You'll see what I mean once you are in there. look at other posts too on the subject that will give you better pics by other guys who are better at posting etc. I'm 218 lbs. so I'm no light weight- but you can't throw yourself into the seat, as the design just won't take it.

Here is probably my best post on it:

Good luck!

Best,
