"Charging System Fault"??

"Charging System Fault"??
First time this has ever happened to me.....
I got in the car, to run an errand, and instead of hitting the ignition key to "on" for a couple of seconds, to bring up the fuel pressure, like I usually do, I just went right to the "start" position. The starter fumbled for a second, the "charging system fault" message flashed on the DIC for a moment, and then the car started right up.
The DIC then read 14.2-14.3 volts, as I drove the car. The volt meter agreed with this. I drove the car for about 15 minutes, and returned home. During this time, the car ran just fine. At home, I checked for codes, and there weren't any.
Maybe just a "hiccup", or the dreaded ignition switch contact issues??
