Hi. I have a 98 C5 where the intermittent settings of the wipers do not work. The Low and High constant on do work well. I'm wondering if this is an issue with the stalk or is there another control somewhere that can be swapped out?
Thank you for the response. That seems like a pretty in depth process. Is there any supporting documentation or testing process to prove that is the cause before taking on that task?

I'm not familiar with replacing the board, but I've replaced the wiper motor and it wasn't all that expensive, and it includes the board. I want to say $65.
Also, clean the udders under the cowl. When they clog and water backs up, many times your wiper motor is toast.
Common issue on Chevys. Changed one last week for a customer.
1. Check for power on the Yellow (143) at the wiper motor and a good ground on the Black (150).
2. All the other wires should have 0 V with the switch off. Gray (91), Dark Green (95) and Purple (92).
3. If any of the wires have power with the switch off, check for a short to power and/or disconnect the switch.
4. If the voltages are OK, replace the wiper motor or circuit board.

Sorry Shadowman1, somehow I missed this post before. Is there a check in any of the intermittent settings to determine if the stalk is working? When would any of the other wires have voltage?
