Low Voltage, No HUD, no tack
2003 C5 50th Anniversary convertible
a while back the low voltage came up on DIC. Alternator tested bad and battery tested weak. Both replaced.
Still had low voltage but was at 11.2 volts. alternator tested good. pulled starter and cleaned all connections and ground above starter.
Still low voltage warning.
Stumbled on to if engine revved up, volts would jump to 14.3 - low voltage goes away.
drove few months then during which twice it dropped to zero and gages went out twice. Drove a few miles and it kicked back in.
Now it has dropped to zero and wont come back.
Low voltage - shows 1.2 volts
no HUP
to RPM gage
Alternator tests ok
Volt meter show 11.6 at battery, starter and alternator when off
Once started it shows the same.
Rev engine twice and voltage goes to 14.3 at battery, starter and alternator, battery-alternator tester plugged into cig. lighter shows good on both after being revved.
DIC still show low voltage (clear it and show voltage 1.2)

Took to automotive electrical shop, they have checked the cluster and continue to look without success of finding the issue.
