Heya, so I bought the skid plates protectors that are supposed to bolt on top of the skid plates after I hit a curb at low speed but it looks like it's not even close to being able to fit, as seen on the pictures below. The protector would have to go 1" inside the bumper cover to fit in there; is that because the skid plates are too damaged already? Would the fangs fit in that case?
PS: my car is lowered with front bolts removed, if that matters.
I guess I am asking how you managed to make them fit as it doesn't look like I have enough clearance to stick the protectors in except by bending the bottom of the bumper cover 1" or 2" up

if I remember right, I pushed the valance up to clear and after the install it came back down where it belongs ???
I used fine fabric screen and pulled it over the condenser and using the alum. channel sandwiched the screen to the condenser. then I cut a piece of wood to fit in the bottom channel of the radiator to sandwich the screen in the bottom. I did this because I have to drive on a dirt road for a ways !!
ok the mesh is only on the front of the condenser right? very niffty idea man! what do you mean by the wood?
There is a channel on the bottom of the radiator and I cut a piece of wood to sandwich the screen in the radiator. 2nd pic, I painted it black !! The screen is actually just over the condenser but the shrouding keeps all the air flow into the condenser first.

I ordered a set from Indy-Motorwerks, they look like the OP's, I hope my fangs aren't too bent up yet. But I don't think I can crawl under there to put them on, and I don't jack up my own car anyway, so my local shop will have to help me install.
