And if you're not familiar with using the manual ****, counter-clockwise to raise, clockwise to lower. Plus you have to turn the manual **** a bunch to move the headlight just a little bit. There are some temp fixes you can do (disconnect headlight from motor and rotate the nylon gear 180 degrees - this uses the other side of the gear which isn't stripped but it's a temp fix only) but you should probably look at getting some new brass gears which resolve the problem permanently. Well, that sure seems highly unusual. If you can turn the ****, then its obviously not locked up. Let's try a different approach. Like most new members, no one seems to ever take the time to fill out their profile. It's actually quite helpful because it allows us to know where you live. We can then recommend someone to assist or give help, often a fellow member. So if you'd be so kind to let us know where you're located, maybe (very likely) we'll have a member that lives near you and can give some assistance.
There are several ways to get to the headlight mechanism. Looks like you're going to have to attempt raising it from underneath. There is a panel under the bumper directly under the headlight. You might try removing that one and see how it goes. You can also remove the wheel well liner and try that method. I do NOT recommend a pry bar of any sort. You have to turn the **** a LOT to get just a little bit of movement from the headlight. Sorry you're having problems but it isn't impossible. Maybe just a little tougher on this one.

And drop the "crowbar"....not a good tool for pop up headlights.
