Default running just Headers and catted x pipe

Hello folks, this may be a silly question, but I am waiting for a catback system to arrive, and need to use the vehicle, is there any ill effects running the vehicle with just the headers/catted xpipe in place with a turn down dump.

Yes I know it will be like electronic cutout loud, but wasnt sure if running without any sort of back pressure if it will throw off the tune at all.

Running a Maggie!

Thanks

it will be fine, just extremely loud... I ran mine like this for a couple of weeks until I was able to get the axle back modified to clear my trans, I loved how it sounded at idle but driving would give you a headache... needless to say I was glad to get my corsas back on there

Just make sure you get them turned down far enough or you will run the risk of melting your rear spring. Been there, done that...

The ill effect is attracting police for no reason and looking like a dork for making way more noise than power.

Stock and aftermarket exhaust systems all hook up the same. Do you not have whatever system you're replacing? If so, just hook that up until the new one arrives.
Makes a heck of a better choice than all that noise and heat under the car if possible.
