What you posted is not what is broke. I do not know how to post a picture, their is a plastic piece that runs on a screw that is attached to the drive motor that operates the up and down movement of the seat that is broke.
If I am understanding what you have described correctly, you will have to replace the whole seat track assembly. The plastic pieces are not available separately as far as I can find.
I have 2 broken seats from a 98 C5 that I have been using for parts that these plastic yokes are kind of OK on but are riveted to the threaded shaft.

Do you still have the seats from your 98? I need a seat reclining adjuster from the drivers seat. It is from the console side of the seat and it is the part that the recliner seat cable actually attaches to.

I have a c5 2003 with sport seats.
I still have the seat parts. You are asking about the recline mechanism on the inboard side of the seat? If so I do have that. It is a pain to remove, GM (Lear) used a roll pin to attach the forward end of it with the rear being part of the seat back.
I wont be able to get to it until the weekend. Send me a email at g_kopko@yahoo.com.
