Upper Ball Joint Question
I was clearancing my rear knuckle and ball joint for fitment of C4 16" wheels. I was using a flapper wheel on a grinder and doing it little by little. However, I still went a little too far on the ball joint dust cap and left a hole in the dust cap.
So now I need to replace the ball joint in short order. Does anyone know of a replacement ball joint that allows a little more clearance between knuckle and wheel? In other words, one that doesnt protrude as much from the top of the knuckle?
I could replace with OEM or even the Raybestos, but I feel like i would be right back in the same boat.
