New PCV Design?
My dealer tells me there is a new PCV system to help eliminate oil in the intake. I am currently using the gas filters but they do have to be replaced regularly. Has anyone used the new set up and do you get any Ping/Knock with it.

GM put it on mine when I started the oil consumption testing. I previously had the fuel filter system on mine as well, but I took it off to begin the consumption testing.
For a few hundred miles with the new PCV valve, I had no pinging, and then it re-developed. Of course, this could've been coincidence or gas. Ultimatley, however, it didn't fix the consumption, and I ended up with new rings. Good luck. :seeya
