Default Rim and tire question

The front tires need to be replaced on my my brothers C5 but he wants to get some stickier tires for the back. He was thinkng about throwing the back wheels/tires on the front and buying a set stock 18 inch rims with Drag radials for the back, and just doing away with the 17's up front. Would this screw up the car's geometry? Bad idea?

Thanks
Alex

You'll still have to stagger the tire sizes. I don't think you can use the stock rear tires on the front.

Also, there are not any 18 inch drag radials that fit the C5, as far as I know.

Thanks for the info Tom, Just got thru reading that the Michelin Pilot Sport is a decent tire so I'll pass that info along to him.
