I know its a air system code but I need a little help on where to start looking.

DTC P0410 Secondary Air Injection (AIR) System
The first question the trouble shooting asks if you have checked the the underhood fuse #50 and #51. It sounds like the system is saying the AIR pump isn't operating.
This is one of those codes that can trip a fault and you really don't have a problem. Check the fuse like Rich said. If it is ok then see if one of the other relays in the box are the same as "air pump micro relay 33" if they are then swap them, clear the codes and drive on.
System basic's:
computer controls relay that controls air pump. Computer says inject air into exhaust system (to clean up emissions). Computer reads 02 sensors to see if pump injected air. If it doesn't think it did it sets a code. Bottom line it won't affect you engines performance, just emissions.
Re: Code help needed PO410 air system (best_vette_yet)
Funny thing about code 410, I got this right after picking up my new ride at Carlisle this year....put the car into the shop for an oil change, PA state inspection and overall checkup...well....I now know why I was getting code 410 - NO AIRPUMP! Yep, someone must have removed both the air pump and mounting bracket for some odd reason (I hear that in older hot rods - you can remove the air pump for more HP - but not with new cars). Well, gotta save a few $$$ for the air pump but tires come first.
