Smoke from starter low voltage
I had to remove the starter while installing (i don't think that matters but maybe)
Also dropped the transmission pan to change fluid.
Started the car up fine, got the car up to temp to make sure the transmission fluid was good. (a ton came out at 178 degrees idk if thats normal)
While the car was getting up to temp it said low voltage so I finished the transmission fluid and turned the car off.
went to start it up again and some smoke came from the starter. (under low voltage 9.9-10.3)
so 2 questions
What could cause this low voltage which is what I assume is causing the starter to smoke.
New battery and alternator was installed less than a year ago.
