A few codes.
P0113, P1111, B2527, C2120
The last two represent the horn and TPMS which I’ll describe later.
The first two are for high voltage in the IAT sensor circuit. From reading about those codes on this forum, I thought I’d start w/ the IAT. The wiring looks good so far but I’ll go over it again since replacing the IAT sensor didn’t help. I still get the “active handling warming up” message.
I got the car in June with 132xxx miles on it and little paperwork available. Fifth or 6th owner. I expect to use it exclusively for track days, which I have already done a half dozen since getting it. I took the radio and front speakers out. No sensors in the tires. I flashed the ECU with the canned inTune software. No engine mods. It runs great, just throwing codes.
The horns did not work when I got the car, so I got another to pass inspection. The horn does not work again, and I see that the fuse is blown. Is there a chance that the horn circuit is related to the other problem? Maybe a bad ground? I’ve heard the “Active handling” warning can be related to steering input, and since the horn circuit passes thru there, will I have to remove the steering wheel?
When I went to replace the horn fuse, the horn came on continuously.
A knowledgeable Corvette owner at the track today told me to refresh the ABS unit. Seems easy enough to do, but I wonder if I have more than one issue?
