2000c5 engine noise

It seems when i first start my car the engine has a slight nocking noise. It goes away after running for a short time.should i be concerned?

I bought a 2000 C5 a few months ago. Started noticing a weird noise on cold starts almost immediately after I got the car. Spent weeks trying to diagnose it. One night I ate dinner standing in the garage with the engine running. Enough was enough...when in doubt, the noise is likely piston slap, nothing more nothing less. Ignore it.

Post a video. I have a pretty nasty nocking/ticking sound on a cold start that will last about 5 mins then disappear. I hope mine is piston slap but unfortunately I believe it is a failing lifter.
