I am doing heads, cam, and nitrous set up on my C5 this winter. I am on the line about ordering a new intake manifold and throttle body. My tuner said it will help but may not be worth the money spent since my car comes with the LS6 manifold as is. So my question is what do you guys think? Am I only looking at 10-15whp gains? Thanks!
If you don't mind the extra expense I would do it. I didn't when I did my head cam last year and it drove me nuts for a year - ended up buying a used FAST and home ported it over a weekend and had my tuner port match, added FAST 36# injectors and replaced my crappy (and cracking) headers with ARH 1 7/8" catless headers and I picked up 28 rwhp and 27 foot/lbs.

hmmm... that's a decent amount of power... thanks for your input!
Not sure, some coated mild steel headers that were bolted to the bell housing. Cracked at the bell housIng spot due to rust and stress on the tabs that were bolted to the bell housIng.
