Default New design PCV

I have a 00 C5 is there any point to replacing the PCV with the new revised part. In other words will it do any good or is this just wishful thinking? Also whats the part number?

I figure couldn't hurt, it will slow down oil travel through the line. It is more restrictive and only costs about $3. The part no. is 12572717 if I remember right. :yesnod:

I just put one on my 2000. Before I was right at GM's acceptable limit, 2,000 miles /quart. We'll see if this helps.

Is this the hollow PCV?
Most people had less than stellar results, but it doesn't hurt.
