Splicing Wires For Autometer Nitrous Guage ?
I need a little help. I'm installing an Autometer Electric Nitrous Guage in a pillar pod. It is going to come up about a foot short. Autometer's prewired hookup from sender to guage is pretty long but I was going to splice in a little more wire so it will reach. Is this a no-no or will it work OK ? The connectors are very small and it looks like it would be easier to splice into the middle of the length of wire, instead of trying to pull the plug apart. Any ideas ? Thanks ahead.
