broken hud

my hud went on the fritz last week. brought it back to dealer they have to put whole new dash in.
anyone else with this problem :cry

Hey manny,
There was no codes that came up.
It just would lock up with all the displays showing or it would read the incorrect speed . when I called my deller he said he had a dash on order don't know if he means whole dash or just HUD. :seeya

I agree that if this is being done under warranty, let them put a new dash in.

The dash cluster controls the HUD display, so if there were problems like you described I would suspect the cluster also. :cheers:

Make sure that the new dash fits exactly in every detail and that all seems are straight Finally, make sure there are no rattles and that every thing works correctly. You never know what they could brake when fixing the HUD. Good luck with your repair.
