QA1/HAL replacing/repairing my shock...
Well, I called up QA1 (Thanks for the number, Nate) and they agreed to replace/repair my defective shock, even though I'm not the original owner. How cool is that? Shock has a few thousand miles on it and is less than 6 months old...
I love it when a company stands behind their product....

Re: QA1/HAL replacing/repairing my shock... (ToplessTexan)
Hehe. I had a mess of problems...
1) front shock emitting a rattling/clunking sound over bumps.
2) same front shock emitting a high-pitched squeal/squeak over bumps anytime the firmness is set above "4".
3) Rear passeneger wheel exhibiting a "clunking" sound during stop/go traffic.
4) Rear end making "box 'o Rocks" sound.
First two can be attributed toi the shock. The bottom two bushings are worn which allows the shock to rattle when I go over bumps. The squeaking is obviously the shock. It's being replcaed/repaired by QA1.
Number three was tracked down to a loose spindle/axle nut. I don't know what the torque spec is, but I checked it before I took it in for service (they thought it was the axle) and I couldn't budge it with a 1/2" cheater bar. Took it in for the replacement axle and they found the spindle/axle nut was loose. Problem solved.
The last one... Well, I guess it's "normal".
