Default Just a little more SOUND please!

I have a stock 2003 Vert. with a Flowmaster exhaust system that was already on the car when I got it. I'm happy with the power it has stock but I would like to just get an intake system that would just give a little deeper tone and still filter the air decent enough. I don't want to get in any debates over hp. gains over this one and that one because just common sense tells me none of them on a car just driven normally is going to make much if any difference anyway but if it does that's fine. So far I am thinking of either just a K&N filter in the stock box or possibly the over the radiator type K&N and others have. If just a replacement K&N filter will create a little more sound I'll just go that way but I doubt if you would hear much difference with the air inlet is down that low or am I wrong?
Honestly I'm just interested in the sound and not trying to kid myself it did anything other than that but that is all I'm after anyway but still protect the engine. Believe me I know about the percieved hp. gain based on the different noise the engine makes, I learned that many decades ago.
I'm just one the old fart guys that just likes the performance sound, even if it doesn't have any extra power. This has all the power I'll ever need.
But if I do want to make more I'll just go straight to a supercharger kit and be done with it and know instantly it made a change. But I'm not quite there yet

honestly i'd just suggest window shopping youtube. find a combo you like and roll with that.

and power or not, i can tell you now my car went from "hey sounds good" to "DEAR GOD ARE YOU MAD?" after adding a cam. could do a hot cam and not need to replace valve springs as often and probably still amp the noise way way up (and accidentally gain a little hp in the process)

going for immediate gratification, look up the zip tie mod. can do it in a Harbor Freight parking lot.

i think anything Corsa sounds better than anything not Corsa, but thats just me.

If you are in the market for a cold air intake I would highly recommend to NOT buy one that has an oiled filter element-----Today this is old technology---
The latest new CAI filters are all oil-less and use synthetic fibers to filter the air---The synthetic filters are far more efficient and filter down to lower micron levels---Even K&N now offer oil less filters---Oil less filter clean easier as well simply using compressed air
I chose to buy the AFE OIL LESS CAI on my C7 and love the results in power and ease in maintenance----On a C7 however the filter is in a closed box so there is little sound improvement----BUT on a C5 where you can use a open set up you will get a roar fro the air intake !!
