H E L P ! ! ! Hurst Shifter Install Questions...
I have the Hurst ready to go in, but I don't have any instructions with the shifter... I don't have to set the stops like on a Mustang, right? The factory shifter didn't have any stops.
And on one of the install pages it says, "adjust the side tension according to the instructions."
I have none - anyone know what I need to do?

I went to the Mr. Gasket (Hurst) site and they don't have the instructions for our shifter online. What the heck, do they think it is still 1980?

You are a lifesaver! RG, thank you also. I got the shifter new, with shrinkwrap and all, but there were no instructions!?!
I didn't think it would matter because I had good instructions on the forum and a couple of sites - but none of them mention adjusting the shifter springs - they all say, "follow the instructions for this..."
The PDF is great. Thanks! Wonder why that isn't at the Hurst site - or did I overlook it somehow?
