code P0430
Hello forum members. I have a 2003 Z-06. I have been getting a P0430 code for catilyst below threshold bank 2. I know bank 2 is the passenger side. I have tried that Catty clean gas additive but the check engine light has come back on twice in 40 miles since. Any help would be great.

sounds like a failed cat. if you have access to a scanner, moniter the upstream and downstream bank 2 o2 sensors. the upstream should be switching rapidly while the downstream should switch much slower. if the downstream 02 is switching rapidly, that usually indicates the cat has failed

I had the code come up after longer drives. I went with the spark plug anti fouler and the code has not come back since. Cost less than $8.00 and my time to take care of it.
