What knock sensors did you use and where did you locate them? I'm having a heck of a time with my knock sensors pulling timing. I'm using the LS-1/6 style KS's that typically go under the intake but relocated to the side of the block using an extension harness. I wonder if these are too sensitive for the LS-7 and the location on the block. What have you all done?

I did exactly what you did and do not get any knock at all. In my case, since I never get any knock, I thought they weren't working or the new location was a bad choice.

Did you torgue the sensors properly. The sensitivity is determined by the torque you used. Check you manual and make sure you've got it right. My LS7 is set up the same as yours and doesn't have a problem.
Thanks guys. That's the info I needed. I'll check the torque on them. It's odd to me that it is it doesn't occur all the time and that temps have something to do with it.
