Default Door Switch Button Assembly LED Conversion; Question

Corvette MODS sells a kit to convert the bulbs in the door switches to LEDs. There are also options for DCI and HUD conversion to LEDs. Has anyone purchased and installed this kit? How easy is the removal and disassembly of the switch modules? Following is a link to the product on Corvette Mods.

I used a kit from a forum vendor JWMotoring for all the door switches and the cluster switches as well.
The door lock switches are easy to remove and install the new LEDs. The LEDs will only light if installed in the proper polarity. I plugged mine back into the harness before installing the switches back in the doors

The cluster and HUD switches require removing the instrument cluster from the dash. They require proper polarity as well and I did the same plugging them back into the wiring harness to make sure they would light before reinstalling the cluster. I also installed the silver rings around the gauges while I was in there.

Here is a link to a instruction sheet for cluster removal.

So far, I quickly glanced at the instruction site you provided (thanks so much). So, the instructions may have addressed this. I understand now to remove the switch assembly for the door panels. But how are the assemblies themselves taken apart in order to install the LEDs?

I think the instrument cluster and HUD light upgrade may be more than I want to deal with. However, the door control panels and the others appear to be something I can address.

Once I give the instruction a complete reading, I may (will) have more questions.

Don't need to take the assemblies apart—the bulbs are accessible right there after popping them out of the door:

Be careful prying them out. Pry the DS from the bottom, PS from the top.

Thanks very much. So, all I really need are the right LED replacement bulb configuration. I've already replaced the interior and exterior bulbs with LEDs. Could be I already have the correct LED bulb type from what are left from the interior bulb replacement.

Excellent photos. Thanks for including them.

Dunno what you already have. According to this thread, they're Neo wedge type B. I think I got mine on eBay. I might've had to shave the barrel of the T base down slightly to get them to fit into the holes in the switch panels. If you get an "official" kit, they should fit without modification—I'm just a cheap ******.

Me too! That is why I am asking about the bulb type.
